My Big Fish

Since we have been so busy lately and the next few weeks are just as busy, we decided to go out on the boat for a little while yesterday evening. I packed a picnic supper, got the lake bag ready, and as soon as the kids got up from their nap I put their swimming suits on them and out the door we went. Joel met us there after work and we had a great evening together. I even got in on the action. Normally, I am the lifeguard making sure no one falls in or the snack person making sure everyone is full. Last night I got to fish and caught this big one. It weighed 8 pounds 5 ounces. I wasn't sure if I was going to get it in the boat. The kids were just as excited as I was. They were very proud of their Mommy! Possum said that he was going to eat my fish. It was big enough that I think it could feed all four of us. Thank you Daddy for taking us out on the boat. We had a great time!
