We woke up this morning to a layer of ice. We were expecting a lot worse, so this is good. It could still do something more, but right now we are fine. We still have power, but there are some around us that don't. Joel had prepared us for the worse-gas for the generator, water bottled up, gas for the fireplace, camp stoves and I made a quick trip to Wal-Mart yesterday morning (God bless me!). Hopefully we won't get any more ice. Some snow would be nice though. I would love to be able to sled down the hill with the kids one time this winter! I love snow as much as the kids do!!!

woohoo!!!!! Carmen went out and got soaked taking pictures! It is beautiful, isn't it? As long as we don't loose power, it will be good :)
So beautiful! I wish the boys could see some ice or snow.
