My Best Friend

I am so thankful that Joel got to go on vacation with us. It was a last minute decision. I'm sure we would have had a good time if he hadn't been able to go with us, but it was so much more fun with him there. The kids had fun playing in the sand and water with Daddy and I enjoyed spending some quality time with my best friend. I love you Joel!!

Just when I thought that I was finished posting pictures from vacation I realize that I had not even posted my favorites of Squirrel. I absolutely love these pictures, especially the ones of her with Joel. I have a feeling that these pictures will remain some of my favorites of Squirrel for along time.

I probably could share vacation pictures for another week. I took so many pictures! We truly did have a wonderful time. It was great to get away and rest. At one point in the week I sat and marvelled at the fact that I had not heard a phone ring all day! I enjoyed playing with the kids and spending some quality time with Joel. We also had a great time playing games and hanging out with the family. This was the first time ever that we had the whole family together. The food was also wonderful. Squirrel and I ate our fair share of shrimp!! Thank you Poppa and Nana Bama for a wonderful vacation. We love you both!
