Egg Hunters

The kids got to hunt eggs again tonight. This time they were hunting with Hannah and Mason. After Hannah had hid the eggs for them and they found them all, Possum and Squirrel decided to hide some eggs for Hannah. The last picture shows how they hid them- all in one pile! Maybe we will get one more hunt out of those eggs on Easter day.
We have a Fishers of Men tournament on Kentucky Lake this weekend. We'll leave tomorrow and be back Saturday night. The kids are really excited because we are staying at Moor's Resort and they have a cool playground and miniature golf course. I'm sure I'll have plenty of pictures to share after this full weekend.

A Tea Party

The kids both woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning. After some attitude adjusting, I thought things were better. Then Possum locked Squirrel out of his bedroom so she couldn't come in and play. So Squirrel and I decided to have a tea party with her baby dolls. When Possum saw what fun we were having he changed his mind and really wanted to come to the party. After much persuasion, Squirrel allowed Possum to come to the party with the stipulation that he wouldn't mess up the tea party. The menu for the party was "Diet Dr. Pepper" tea, muffins, and fruit. Possum had to add a manly feel to the party and wanted to grill hot dogs. What a party!

Egg Hunters

Since we won't have the kids back to together before Easter next week we thought we would let them have some fun decorating eggs and hunting them. Yes, it was a very messy task for the three of them, but they enjoyed themselves. They had even more fun running around the yard looking for the eggs. I believe that they would have hunted for them all evening if someone would have kept hiding them.

Visitors

We have had a house full the past few days! My sister and her two kids and my MawMaw and cousin Bridgett all came for a visit. We have had a fun time with the exception of the baby getting sick and having to go to the doctor. The kids have had a ball with Bridgett. I have tried to talk her into moving here to finish college and be my nanny. Possum and Squirrel love playing with her and she is so good with them. I don't think she is going to take me up on my offer. We have watched movies, eaten, played outside, eaten some more, colored eggs and hid them, eaten...What a weekend of memories!
