Possum
We have been so busy lately that I haven't had time to regularly post pictures. These pictures of Possum were made a few weeks ago. I'm not really sure what he was up to. All I can say is that he has a huge imagination and he had something in mind. It was just too funny not to take pictures of.

Our First Day of Homeschooling
After much thought and prayer about sending Possum to preschool we decided to homeschool for this year. School started back on Tuesday and although the preschool classes don't begin until September I decided to go ahead and get started so we could get a little ahead. We are using the preschool curriculum from Alpha Omega and I am really liking it. I am trying to do it with Squirrel too and so far it is going well. Our only problem has been the kids fussing over who is going to answer questions! I hope that their enthusiasm continues throughout the year. So far no one has had to go to the principal's office!!!!

Pop's Birthday
Today is Pop's 88th birthday. He had knee replacement surgery last week and is still in the hospital. He has not been allowed to eat for the past few days, but his doctor told him he could eat some cake today. Pop requested an Italian Cream Cake.

Playground Phase III
To say we have been busy lately is an understatement! Joel has been telling the kids for a while that he was going to work on their playground, but there is never any time. On Friday he came home from sitting at the hospital with Pop and with blood shot eyes he began working on Phase III. Phase I was the actual base with the swings, Phase II was adding the posts and support beams, and now Phase III was the ramp leading up to the slide platform and the slide. I don't know when he will have time for Phase IV, but at least the kids can slide now! I wish I had taken pictures of each phase so you could see the progress. I also wish I had taken pictures of all three of them in their working overalls!
