Weekend Update

My busy weekend has come to an end. I am enjoying sitting on the couch by the warm fire resting. Joel put on a pot of stew while I was gone to the baby shower and so I don't even have to cook supper. What a wonderful husband! Check out Sweets by Shae to see all of the great stuff I made this week.

I have been extremely busy this week getting ready for the Craft Fair that I attended yesterday. While Mommy was busy, Possum and Squirrel had a ball! This was the way I found their rooms one afternoon when I stopped working to go check on them. Wow! What a mess.

In our case, the Squirrel is getting ear infections. And lots of them. We have had Squirrel back at the doctor today with double ear infections again. Poor little Squirrel. Pray that she gets over this quickly.

I haven't dropped off the end of the earth. I'm just really busy getting ready for the craft show on Friday. Come by and see me Friday and buy some really good sweets!

Bed Buddies

Squirrel and Priss really enjoy spending time with each other. They want to have everything just alike. This morning I had pulled Squirrel's hair into a ponytail. Priss went to Cricket and said that she needed her hair like Squirrel's. They are so silly together. Just like two little girls should be.

Possum is proud of his work!

No. Cricket and I haven't lost our minds. We know it isn't Christmas yet, but we needed an activity to do with the kids and making gingerbread houses is something we used to do when we were growing up. We thought that we would continue the tradition with our children. Everyone had a wonderful time. Squirrel just couldn't stand the pressure of all the treats. She started with the icing on her fingers and continued on to the house itself. Memories!

The first two pictures are of Cricket trying to "break" into the candle factory. We didn't know it was going to be closed and we were really wanting some candy!!! Don't worry. She didn't commit any crime.
